We really hate the word “generic” here…“WYWICH” is a roleplaying engine designed entirely to facilitate doing anything you can dream up, on the fly if necessary, without relying on piles of supplemental materials to tell you how to create characters, magic, creatures, technology, or keep everything balanced from genre to genre…it’s all built into the system! (Plus you’ll finally get to use those 12-siders you’ve been saving as curiosities. That’s right…WYWICH gives 12-sider craftsmen a reason to smile again.) By applying a unique perspective and keeping the mechanics as uncluttered and uniform as possible, we can offer players and game masters alike the freedom to play what you want, at will!
That being stated…
Of course there will be supplements!
Let’s face it…the ability to have everyone at the table declare they want to play “Pirates and Parsnip Farmers” with there being no fear that WYWICH can handle the job right out the main rulebook is all very nice, but sometimes you want a good solid base to work from.
I won’t go into too much detail at this point except to say that a few original campaign worlds are already being fleshed out for WYWICH, including:
- A swords & sorcery world where scheming gods are plentiful and dungeons are mighty scarce.
- A ripping mix of Edgar Rice Burroughs and post-apocalyptic Hell…with tea.
